Guadí rikiri, slytha. (the sleeping cave spirits)

With two parallel realities occurring in our lives, how does virtual reality function as a skeuomorphic environment of our physical and decaying world?. the materialistic process of change loaded with emotional intent seems to take on a different shape when crossed over the border. 
By continuously reworking features on a single mask, pausing between expressions to scan it into a 3D mesh, a new presence is formed. each scan now its own manifestation captured in a digital limbo which neither exists nor ceases to exist. the physicality of the masks is reformulated with representations of their former self, and a new presence is formed.
